You just finished up your cleanse and if your anything like me, are probably dying for a piece of pizza. "Nothing taste as good as skinny feels!" LIES! Whoever said that never had a tropical sunrise Margarita! There is a light at the end of the tunnel however, because today you start your Max Phase. The first thing you need to do on day 11 is weigh in and measure. At this point in the process you can expect to have lost anywhere from 4-11 pounds!
Now drag out your box of MNS Vitamins, Shakes and Spark! There are 3 different MNS packs, MNS 3 ( a great starting place ), MNS C ( more appetite control ), and MNS 3 ( more energy ).
MNS 3 and C are my favorites. They take the cravings for the "bad" food completely away... ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!
This is your basics of the MNS Phase. There are add ons that I recommend and do myself. My must have bundle is Catalyst, Thermoplus, and Carb-ease Plus. So you want to fit in your skinny jeans again.... Your survival guide on the Advocare cleanse! First of all remember it's only 10 days! There are two different cleanses available, the citrus (digestive) & peaches and cream (liver & kidney).
Most people want to start with the digestive cleanse, *TIP* the peaches and cream flavor fiber drink is easier to do.
The reason you do the cleanse, is to clear your body of toxins, get it cleaned out and ready to absorb all of the nutrients.
I personally like to organize mine when I start into baggies for each day. That just makes it easier for you.
I also start breakfast with my meal replacement shake. I generally cannot eat an entire shake so I use half and a banana in mine. If you put it in the blender with ice and water it ends up like ice cream... YUM!
Now the hard part of the cleanse is the first three days and the last three days, which is when you drink the fiber drink. Do not mix the citrus fiber with water only! I like to mix it with juice, spark, or green tea. Have a spark handy beside you as well. Drink it as fast as you can, literally kill it! (Yes, I know this would work better with vodka!) The longer it sits the thicker it gets! I'm not going to lie to you, it's not fun!!! Think skinny thoughts!
While you are doing the cleanse you want to eat clean. You want to avoid fried food, sugar, dairy, white flour, & bad carbs. You can download the Advocare 24 day challenge app & that's a significant help as well. You can follow my Pinterest for great recipes (godesstisha) to help you along. You don't have to calorie count, just eat smart. It's really not as hard as you imagine! Most people lose 2-10 pounds during the cleanse. More great news... YOU CAN LEAVE THE HOUSE WHILE ON THE CLEANSE!!! Don't worry you don't have to tote clean undies with you everywhere you go! It's not going to send you running to the potty for hours on end! It's just gentle and uneventful, yet effective. Make sure to measure and weight your first morning of day one, write it down and then do the same the morning of day 11. Good Luck! It's time to make a change! I have completed my challenge as well and lost 15 pounds. My process so far has been to start and complete my 10 day cleanse & completing the 24 day challenge. I am now doing my MNS vitamins, catalyst, thermo plus & spark. I have also added carb ease to my regimen as this is probably my biggest weakness! The advocare products are the only thing I have personally used that actually works for me and isn't some
crazy fad type diet. During your first 10 days while you are completing your cleanse, you eat healthy and clean. You need to avoid starches, bad carbs, sugar, and dairy. WHAT!? No bread, margaritas, or cookies!?! Yes it's true... But if I can do it, then you can do it too! Although I confess that yesterday I had a relapse... (wasting away again in Margaritaville...)
For the most part, I have not even craved the bad food I am used to ingesting. I would contribute this to the product and also to getting your body into a habit of eating healthy.
I am down a total of 22 pounds and dropped two sizes so far. The journey continues....
